Tudor Music Afterlives

This concert explores the great repertory of Tudor music through its posthumous traces: manuscripts in which well-known masterworks were copied long after their composers had died; small-scale arrangements for lutes and voices; and contrafacta, where new English texts were substituted in place of the original Latin ones.
